From time-to-time, our salons employ new team members. These positions are advertised firstly on our Facebook page and then on this website. If no suitable applicants are found this way, we will then advertise in local newspapers and on employment websites as necessary.
All of our team members are expected to love animals and treat the clients dogs as they would treat their own. We also expect that our team members be reliable, respectful, honest, trustworthy and should be able to work well as part of a team. If you think you posses these qualities and more and would be interested in working in our team, we recommend you follow our Facebook page and keep your eye out there.
Unfortunately we are unable to keep resumes on file for positions that may become available further down the track.
We are currently unable to undertake work experience at this time. We thank you for your interest and encourage you to check back again later for updates.
Our salons are able to accept work experience students from the months of February to November only.
All work experience applicants must be covered by their own insurance. If you are studying, speak with your educational institution about their insurance coverage. If you are not studying, you would need to purchase your own insurance. There are a number of insurance companies which will cover you for work experience purposes. Barking Beauties is not responsible for providing insurance for work experience students. You must provide proof of your insurance coverage prior to undertaking any work experience with the company.
All interested work experience students must complete the Work Experience Application Form. This form will allow us to assess your suitability to our team, and also assess our availability in relation your request. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept all work experience requests.
Occasionally we are able to take on special needs work experience students as well. Any school or parent who is interested in making an application for this will need to read all of the information in the Special Needs Work Experience Application Form to determine if they think that their student would be able to undertake the duties as listed and if the situation would be suitable to them. It is important to note that our staff are not trained in dealing with or training special needs students.
Please note that all work experience application requests will take approximately 10-15 working days to process.
