Ashley
Groomer/Co-owner
Ashley developed her love for animals at a young age and has had many in the years since (the list is long however, has included dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, birds etc etc..). It was due to Ashley's love of animals that she decided to pursue a career as a veterinary nurse. Here Ashley was taught professional dog grooming and decided that this career was more suited to her. This is where Barking Beauties came to life. Ashley spends her spare time with her many animals including her St Bernard, Brinkley.
Kim
Groomer/Co-owner
With a previous career history in administration, dog grooming might seem a bit different for Kim, however, after assisting Ashley in the care of her animals whilst she was young, this is the perfect career for her. Kim has undertaken a professional grooming course to ensure that her skills have been developed to the best of their ability. Kim is a fellow animal lover who enjoys having the company of her furry friends.
Renai
Marketing/Groomer
Having worked in the background of the business on marketing since opening, Renai now joins us in the salon to help with grooming. Leaving behind a career in event management, we look forward to Renai helping to plan more events for Barking Beauties. Renai is excited to join the team and is thrilled that she gets to spend more of her days with her puppy Duke.
Nicolette
Junior Grooming Assistant
Nicolette joins Barking Beauties on Saturdays to assist the groomers on duty whilst she is studying her HSC. She often brings with her to the salon, her miniature poodle Austin. Nicolette is a valued member of the Barking Beauties team and will take on more grooming duties as her grooming progresses.
Brooke
Junior Grooming Assistant
Brooke joins Barking Beauties on a part-time basis learning the grooming basics whilst undertaking Animal Studies at TAFE, having just completed her School Certificate. Brooke is fast becoming a valued member of our small team and we look forward to Brooke undertaking more grooming as her training progresses.
Brinkley
Brinkley is Ashley's St Bernard. He is currently one year old, however, does not look like a puppy. You will sometimes find Brinkley in the store keeping Ashley, Kim, Renai, Brooke and Nicolette company. Brinkley spends his days in the store asleep, if you listen carefully enough whilst there, you might even be able to hear him snoring (he does snore rather loudly).
Duke
Duke is the most recent addition to the Barking Beauties clan and also joins Ashley, Kim, his mum Renai, Nicolette and Brooke at the store. He is a Shih Tzu and therefore is a small dog. Whilst there is only 8 weeks difference in age between Brinkley and Duke, the size difference is enormous. Duke is our 'meet and greet' dog, who loves to meet everyone dog when they arrive in store. He is a happy and friendly dog who would love to meet your beloved doggie soon.
